When we started the old Annie K was, shall we say - in sad shape. With her decks and floor rotten, her paint in a sad state, in general, she needed a lot of tender loving care.It took a few months and several buckets of money but the final result was well worth it.
Several people had asked why spend the time and the money. The answer is simple, you can not buy a boat built as strong or detailed as nicely as the finished project for even twice the total cost. Plus, when finished she is setup and designed to the owners exact specifications, in this case the owners name is Bill of course and needless to say, he is one very happy boater.
I was asked to repair some wiring. Well, to make a long story short, the entire boat was rewired, relayed, fitted, fastened and loomed. Several options were also installed. The antennas were moved as well as the Navigation lights. To be honest, in the end, nothing was left original. It would have been quicker and cheaper to remove everything and start over, but that was not the original plan. At any rate, it all worked out well.Bill is so happy he's speechless. He tells us its the talk of the town.
More pictures to come. In the mean time - we got fishing to do...
